Boys Instructional Gymnastics

Our Boys Instructional Program is designed with the emphasis of fun first, accomplishment second.  Our program is designed to build on skills as they move forward to the next level at Mercury.  Each gymnast has a skill chart that is structured to record your gymnast’s progress.  The instructional classes are 55 minutes in length giving your child plenty of time to explore their skills on the floor exercise, pommel horse, rings, vault, parallel bars, horizontal bar, and trampoline.  Children will also enjoy jumping into Mercury’s 35 X 20 square foot in ground foam pit!

Level 1 - Boys Basics Gymnastics (4 to 5 Years Old), (6 to 8 Years Old) and (8 Years Old & Up)

Boys Basics Gymnastics class is a 55 minute age based instructional class designed for boys 4 to 5 years old, 6 to 8 years old and 8 years old & upIn this class, gymnasts will focus on establishing the most important fundamentals on each of the six Men’s Gymnastics events; Floor Exercise, Pommel Horse, Still Rings, Vault, Parallel Bars, and Horizontal Bar, as well as Trampoline.

Level 2 - Boys Intermediate Gymnastics (Coach Invite Only

Boys Intermediate Gymnastics Class is a 55 minute age based instructional class designed for boys 5 years old & up.  Participants must have gymnastics experience and be ready to build upon their knowledge of gymnastics fundamentals.  Registration for this class requires approval from your son’s gymnastics instructor. Please inquire with your son’s gymnastics instructor or Mercury’s front desk for more information.

 

Level 3 - Boys Advanced Gymnastics (Coach Invite Only)

Boys Advanced Gymnastics Class is a 55 minute instructional class for gymnasts who have a thorough background in gymnastics. This class will cover a wide variety of challenging skills on each Men’s Gymnastics event, designed to push them to the limit! Registration for this class requires approval from the gymnastics coach. Please inquire with the gymnastics coach or Mercury’s front desk for more information.
