Preschool Gymnastics
We offer 5 levels in our Tumble Stars Preschool Program. Each gymnast has a skill chart that is structured to record your gymnast's progress. Each week your child will enjoy creative themed adventures that center around different gymnastic skills. Our goal is to engage your child in play while strengthening their body. The preschool class promises to leave your child excited about their next week's adventure at Mercury Gymnastics. Children will also enjoy jumping into Mercury's 35 X 20 square foot in ground foam pit.

Level 1 - Mini Mini Moons (Parent Participation 16 Months to 2 Years Old)
Mini Mini Moons is a 45 minute instructional class for children ages 16 months to 2 years old. This class is designed for parent and gymnast participation. Mini Mini Moons will most likely be your child's first movement experience in a class setting with a coach. Class time will be filled with warm up, a circuit designed for preschool age children with bars, trampoline and tumbling along with quality time with their child and help them to develop motor skills, coordination, listening skills and following directions.

Level 2 - Mini Moons (Parent Participation 2 to 3 Years Old)
Mini Moons is a 45 minute instructional class recommended for children ages 2 to 3 years old with parent participation. This class will be focused on following directions, learning basic gymnastics skills, body positions and social skills such as listening and taking turns. It is structured like a Mini Mini Moons class with the goal of the parent stepping aside to allow a coach and gymnast relationship to begin.
Level 3 - Little Stars (3 to 3 1/2 Years Old)
No parents here - Little Stars is a 45 minute instructional class recommended for children ages 3 to 3 1/2 years old. This class is designed for gymnasts to learn basic gymnastic skills, improve fine and gross motor skills and work on listening, taking turns and following directions without parent involvement.
Level 4 - Rockets (3 1/2 to 4 Years Old)
Rockets is a 45 minute instructional class recommended for children ages 3 1/2 to 4 years old. This class is designed for gymnasts that can participate in a structured class without parent involvement. In this class gymnasts will work on improving forward and backward rolling, cartwheels, beam balancing, jumping and tumbling on the trampoline and gross motor strength on uneven bars.
Level 5 - Sunbeams (4 to 5 Years Old)
Sunbeams is a 45 minute instructional class recommended for children ages 4 to 5 years old. This class is designed to transition your gymnast into our boys or girls school age program. In this class gymnasts will work on cartwheels, forward and backward tumbling along with bridge work, strength on bars and balancing on beam. The Sunbeams class is for boys and girls that still enjoy the warm up and theme based curriculum of the Tumble Star Program.
