Laura Habel-  Director of Girls Competitive Gymnastics and Head Coach for Levels 7 - 10


Coach Laura has been coaching gymnastics for 22 years in all aspects of the sport, preschool to national level 10’s. She was a collegiate gymnast at the University of Missouri while pursuing a degree in Hotel Restaurant Management.  She loves working with children and getting them to understand they can do more than what they think they are capable of in all aspects of their lives.  She thrives on learning new techniques and where the sport is going and setting and achieving those long term goals with her gymnasts.  She has coached several gymnasts to full ride scholarships and top 10 National accolades. Coach Laura has been at Mercury for 3 full seasons and can’t wait to continue the success these wonderful gymnasts and families has to offer.   She has a wonderful and supportive husband who works in the golf industry and four great kiddos.

Carly Fetters - Director of Pre-Competitive Gymnastics


Coach Carly has been coaching at Mercury Gymnastics for several years in all areas of the program.  She is the Pre-Competitive Director and also is in charge of our League Program.  She has a passion for gymnastics and coaching girls to their utmost potential.  Once a gymnast herself, she understands how skills work and the effort needed to accomplish one's goals.  She is married and has two wonderful boys.  

Megan Miller


Coach Megan is 31 years old, and has a twin brother, and she LOVES everything about gymnastics.  She is also an administrative construction manager for a Cellular Communications Company.  She has been involved in gymnastics since she was 5 years old, and came to Mercury as a gymnast in 1998 and began coaching in 2004. Coach Megan took a break in 2013 and is glad to be back.  She recently bought her first home on Lake Waukomis with her fiance, Adam, and they have 3 cats that she rescued.

Heather Page 


Coach Heather has been coaching since the age of 15, including dance, gymnastics, and cheerleading.  She has been coaching gymnastics for the past 11 years.  In Colorado, she was the Director and Head Coach of the Girls Competitive Team, Pre-Team through level 6.  Coach Heather has been at Mercury for five years and thoroughly enjoying being part of the Mercury family!

Brandi Shatto 


Coach Brandi competed at a young age of 7-11 years old, before starting to teach gymnastics at 15 years old.  By 18, she was helping build a new gym.  The beginning of college forced a break from the gym, before landing at a new home in Springfield, Mo, where she developed strong roots in coaching and running the business end of a gym. Later she would go on to help open Dynamics Gymnastics.  Coach Brandi moved back to the Kansas city area and found a job in advertising that kept her busy for a little while….but sometimes you can’t keep the girl out of a gym and she found her way back to Mercury Gymnastics 3 seasons ago and she is looking forward to many more!

Carrie Gieseke


Coach Carrie is 31 years old and competed competitively in Indiana  from age 6-12, retiring as a level 9 gymnast. She started coaching gymnastics at age 16 here at Mercury Gymnastics.  She coaches in several areas of the gym including preschool and recreational classes.  She is also a Pre-Team coach.  She loves coaching gymnastics as well as health and fitness.  She is a stepmother to twins and has 2 dogs and 2 cats.
