COVID-19 UPDATE:

To all our Mercury Gymnastics families, athletes, visitors and staff:

Thank you all for our patience and support as we continue to navigate through the pandemic of the COVID-19 virus.

As you know, Mercury works hard daily to keep our gym environment safe, but clean.  We encourage all gymnasts and coaches to always wash hands with soap and water and use our hand sanitizer stations located throughout our gym. We clean our gym each night and coaches have done an awesome job continuing to wipe down tables, handrails, drink stations and equipment.

At this time, after much thought and conversations with other gym owners throughout the region , effective at 12:00PM March 16th, 2020  all classes including team, power hour open gyms, PTA events,  Kids’ Night Out and our academic preschool and birthday parties will be cancelled.

At Mercury, we will continue to monitor the situation as we know it continues to evolve and change rapidly. Continue to check your email, our website page, our Facebook and the answering machine for continued updates.

As a small business with employees, we can tell you without a doubt your support and loyalty during this time, matters.  It will be greatly appreciated to continue to support Mercury Gymnastics and hang in there with us as we work through these serious issues.

At this time, we know our kiddos are having a hard time figuring out why all the things they love are being cancelled and we cancel classes with a heavy heart knowing this.

Mercury will indefinitely waive our make- up policy.  You can have unlimited make ups and open gym passes for any classes missed during this time as long as you continue your enrollment at Mercury.

We plan to continue to give hours (cleaning) to our employees and hope you continue to support us and any other small business as you are able.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Lauren Churchman at the gym or via email.  We will work hard to make sure information is up to date and all your questions are answered promptly!

Take Care and Warm Regards,

Lauren Churchman

Welcome to Mercury Gymnastics

Mercury Gymnastics opened its doors in 1998 with the mission of providing a positive environment where young people can enhance their gymnastic, trampoline & tumbling, cheerleading skills and fitness in a safe and fun manner in our 25,000 square foot facility. We encourage and challenge every young person to achieve their "personal best" by strengthening their bodies, their self-esteem and their confidence. Mercury offers you and your children a clean, safe, and fun environment and the highest quality coaching staff in the Kansas City area.

Mercury Gymnastics also offers Shining Stars Academic Preschool.  Our goal is to provide your child with an enjoyable educational experience, equip them with the skills they need for future schooling, encourage their individual learning style, and offer an inviting atmosphere where your child feels at ease.  Our learning approach is a hands-on investigative learning program where children explore academics through various themes and projects. When children can recognize for themselves when and how to apply numerous skills - it fosters independence, builds confidence, allows them the ability to make decisions and problem solve.
