Life Needs Agility, Balance, Strength, Confidence Life Needs Movement Welcome Back - In 2012 one of our continuing goals is to make Fitness Fun. By making it FUN, kids will want to participate, enjoy it, and continue to like it throughout their lives. Starting children when they're young with fun and fitness is very important. At Mercury, we offer gymnastic classes beginning @ 16 months! They learn how to jump, hang on bars, roll and socialize with kids their size and age. And oh my, they have a great time! In 2012, encourage your child to be active and as a parent, get active with them, choose to eat healthy and have fun!

Drop Notice for Gymnastic Classes

Remember, it is YOUR responsibility to notify our front desk AND fill out a drop slip if your child will no longer be coming to class. Please, do not tell your child's coach, and then assume they will take care of it - they will not. In our hectic world, we understand how often our monthly schedules change and when a drop notice is not filled out, Mercury Will bill you for this class. Paying tuition on time continues to insure your child's spot in that class and tuition will be billed up until the time the drop slip is turned in. If you have questions about our billing cycle, please contact Sharon or Lauren. We are here every day from 8:00 - 1:00pm.

Weather

We are now under the control of Mother Nature. Mercury's weather policy follows Park Hill. If the Park Hill School District cancels classes or after school activities, Mercury gymnastics will also be closed, this includes Preschool, Recreational, Pre Competitive Team, and Fit Fridays. We post our closing on FOX 4 News and we also put our closings on our answering machine. Team kids, your coach will call you about your practice schedule. Your child may make up their canceled class at a future date or receive a Fit Friday pass. Please see the front desk for assistance.

Our Academic Preschool -
Looking for a great Preschool for next fall?

Mercury Gymnastics has a wonderful Academic Preschool Program called Shining Stars Preschool. The Shining Stars Preschool practices a hands-on investigative learning process, where children explore academics through various themes and projects. The program consists of story time, academic centers and gross motor. Your child will have the opportunity to stretch their legs in our 25,000 sq.ft.facility where the weather is always great to play.

*A child must be between 3 - 5 years of age and potty trained to attend.
* Two day Program (Ages 3 & 4)- Tuesday and Thursday AM
* Three day Program (Ages 4 & 5) - Monday, Wednesday, Friday AM

If you are interested in attending fall 2012, look for registration information and information on Shining Stars February Open House that will be coming out the last part of January.

Shining Stars Philosophy: when children can recognize for themselves when and how to apply numerous skills - it fosters independence, builds confidence, allows them the ability to make decisions and problem solve.

Personal Post from the Owner
Close your eyes and think of where you want your kids to be in 10 years? Parents want their children to be healthy and happy. I applaud you for having them in gymnastics and other sports that encourage physical fitness. They say if you want to be successful, find out what other successful people have done and copy that. A high majority of successful CEOS, sport celebrities, doctors, lawyers and movie stars all started in sports…many of them gymnastics. When my kids and their friends were younger, I watched their parents running around like crazy taking them to lessons and games. I watched as their parents got involved and cheered their kids and how this involvement contributed to their kids success! Congratulations on what you are doing now and keep up the good work. Good luck this year (and the next 10) LAUREN
